Supporting Local

We prioritise sourcing fresh ingredients from trusted New Zealand suppliers wherever possible. Supporting local growers and producers helps reduce transport emissions while strengthening local businesses and communities.

By choosing seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients, we can deliver fresher food with a lower environmental impact.

Reducing Food Waste

Food waste is one of the biggest challenges in the hospitality industry, and we actively work to minimise it through:

  • Careful menu planning

  • Accurate portion forecasting

  • Efficient stock management

  • Reusing suitable ingredients responsibly

  • Donating excess food where possible

Our goal is to prepare what is needed while maintaining the generous, high-quality catering experience our customers expect.

Responsible Packaging

  • For large Bulk service options we use reusable plates and cutlery but when packaging is required we use compostable packaging, cutlery & serviettes

  • Package meals are transported in hotboxes to maintain temperature.

We continue to explore better alternatives as sustainable packaging technology evolves.

Efficient Operations

We work to improve efficiency across our kitchen and delivery operations by:

  • Reducing unnecessary energy use

  • Planning delivery routes efficiently

  • Maintaining equipment for optimal performance

  • Minimising excess ordering and wastage

Small improvements across daily operations can collectively make a meaningful difference.

People & Community

Sustainability is also about people. We value creating a positive workplace culture and supporting the communities we work within.

We believe good business should contribute positively not only to the environment, but also to the wellbeing of staff, customers, suppliers, and the wider community.

Recycling & Composting

We recycle plastic, tin, glass, paper, soft plastics and all compostable waste.
